What is Transcendental Meditation® or TM®?
The Transcendental Meditation technique is the world’s most widely practiced, extensively researched, and broadly prescribed program for the reduction of stress, the prevention of disease, the promotion of health, and the development of full human potential-total brain functioning-for greater happiness and success in all areas of life.

How is it practiced
The Transcendental Meditation technique is a simple, natural technique, practiced for 15 to 20 minutes morning and evening while sitting comfortable with the eyes closed. The Transcendental Meditation technique is easy to learn, effortless to practice, and does not require specific beliefs of changes in behavior or lifestyle.

Who practices TM?
More than six million people worldwide, of all ages, cultures, religions, and educational backgrounds, have learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique.

Why should I practice TM vs. other forms of Meditation?
More than 600 scientific research studies, conducted at over 250 universities and medical schools, validate the benefits of the TM programs for mind, body, behavior, and society. Some of the findings of these studies include optimization of brain functioning, decreased blood pressure among hypertensive’s, reduced rates of death, heart attack, & stroke, reduced psychological stress, increased self-actualization, and reduced drug and alcohol use.
